Dubai and the UAE are building a reputation with start-ups from around the world for having one of the largest markets in the world for aerospace, defence and space with investments in space technologies exceeding $5.4 billion and an $47.4 billion aviation sector, which is approximately 13.3 per cent of the country’s GDP.
Aerospace Sector is an important sector for both the Emirate of Dubai and the UAE as a whole as it pursues its ambitious goal of establishing the first ever inhabitable human settlement in Mars by 2117.

70% of the Emirate's residents prefer to use autonomous transportation as opposed to conventional transport, compared to the global average of 58%, signifying a higher than average demand for autonomous vehicles when compared to the rest of the world. With leading transportation infrastructure in the region, it is no surprise the population of Dubai is ready for widespread adoption of this technology.
